Stockholm hosts Iran-Sweden theater production

Theater play ‘Rozan’ (Cracks In the Light) co-produced by Iran and Sweden under the helm of Iranian director Javad Atefeh stage in Stockholm.

Written by Swedish-Iranian playwright Nasim Barghashi, the play premiered on April 27 and runs till April 29, 2017 at Stockholm City Theatre.

The play has been well-received at the Swedish festival of ‘New Play, New World’.

‘Rozan’ recounts the story of immigrants facing difficulties, showing that both guest and host are trapped in a deadlock.

Both Iranian and Swedish actors have taken roles in the play. The play cast includes Lovisa Ruben Dahl, Emil Kochonius, Maliheh Minoukherad, Amir Barghashi and Atefeh Pakbaz, among others.
